The Michigan Onroad Racing League (MORL) is a local racing series with a goal of promoting local tracks and most of all: clean racing fun for the participants.


MORL 2005: Race #3!

The third race will be held at Hobby Hub Raceway in Lansing, MI on August 28th, 2005. This will be on a freshly paved asphalt track. Warm-Up race on August 21st! See the schedule page for more details. See you there!

Race 2 is complete!

Race 2 has been run. Mother Nature did not play very nice and threatened to rain all weekend. It unfortunately hurt out attendance. Results and Points are now online.

Race 2 is coming up!

Race 2 at Lazer Speedway is July 17th. The race flyer is available here. Lazer Speedway has one of their points races on July 10th, which will be a great warm-up for the MORL race.

Race 1 is in the books!

RCScrewz hosted a great race. Thank you to the racers, the track, and the Stampers (for food). The Race Results and Series Points have been posted.

Race 1 Almost Upon Us!

RCScrewz is ready for race 1 being held in 1 week! They will have their normal club racing on Tuesday and Saturday and are open for practice all other days. For TakeOff CS-27 tires, Larry's Hobbies and KT Hobbies have them in stock.

Race 1 Preparation

The carpet at RCScrewz is being rolled up on Monday (6/6) and the layout for the MORL race will be laid down that day. They have their normal club racing on Tue and Sat and are open for practice every day. On Saturday, their club race is typically noon-4:00p, and then open practice until 9:00p.

TakeOff Tire Shortage

There is a shortage of the CS-27s. RCScrewz has some on order and some in stock, but they are back ordered. So, if you can get them elsewhere for now, I recommend doing that. I know Riders in Ypsi has some in stock.

MORL Is Back!

After a 2 year hiatus, the MORL series is back in 2005! Some revisions have been made (mainly the number of races, the classes that count toward the points series, and money payouts) but hopefully this will be as enjoyable a series as in the past.
